so how is that new expansion so far ? ^^

I saw a couple of death knight quests videos but except of that id like to have your opinion on it

Well, I got my Death Knight, Ziiya, to 71 yesterday.. Jara is nearly a level ahead of me on her DK, but what can ya do - She's a levelling machine!

It's really good to have a new area to go to, and I'm glad that Jara and I rolled DK's because by the time we got to Northrend, most of the crowds had gone.

I've gone frost because I want to try my hand at tanking, and I gotta say - I'm really enjoying it! We ran Nexus last night - Narkosys with his 76 druid Maelwyn, and Jara and I with out DK's.. And I was holding threat against a 77 rogue, and Maelwyn.
Jara has gone blood spec, and is pure DPS doom, but I'll let her talk more about that.

There is a level of wit, subtlety and attention to detail that was not present in the BC expansion - lots of little jokes - the one that made me laugh most is one of the NPC's in the Ebon Hold is a banshee named Siouxsie.. Siouxsie and the Banshees are a goth band from the 80's, and one of my favourites. So yeah. Lots of little things like that. Some of the NPC's from the old world turn up in random places, too.

They seem to have paid a lot more attention to detail with the terrain with this expansion, A lot of it is quite lovely, especially Dalaran.

And omg, the exp! True, you need 1.5 million to get from 70 - 71, but you're getting 20k+ per quest, and between 500-1200 per mob, depending on rested and grouping, etc.

So. To answer your question, Peach Dear? The expansion is pretty freaking awesome. We're missing you - and Karma, and Nys - plenty, too.

well this wow addiction is hard to beat thats one thing to say. the expansion doesnt make it easier. ive talked with manu and she says that if i aint happy i may as well listen to my heart

so theres a strong possibility i will come back to wow. soon actually.


PS: your server to you and jaraime is Nagrand right ?

I gotta admit, as much as I might miss you guys, WoW itself doesn't have as much of a hold on me. Admittedly it's been less than a month since I quit, but to be fair it wasn't like I was playing all that much before then either.

What it comes down to is that the game itself isn't interesting to me anymore. The Burning Crusade reinvigorated my interest with the Draenei, which meshed pretty well with my well-known alt-addiction (ie. here's an exciting and new reason to make an alt). Death Knights look interesting, but don't really hold the same interest or excitment for me.

It's still possible that I might come back sometime next year when my finances are in better order, but it's hard to say. To honestly justify paying $15 a month I would have to play the game alot and I just don't see that happening at the moment. Without the gameplay, it's just a weird chat program, after all.

It also doesn't help that you guys are split up among different servers. I've tried the whole multiple characters on multiple servers thing and it just doesn't work for me.

yeah if im gonna come back ill stick on aldys`s and jaraimes server. Having alts on several servers was pretty confusing .

imvu was nice but omg it is so very mega laggy. Its so true thats administered by monkeys. and the graphic quality doesnt compare to wow.

I think you'll find that leveling is a whole bunch quicker than it used to be, too.

im back online my pretties. after agonising and boring hours of downloading the freaking patches i started my new retibution pally named snowtender. give me lots of love and ill level fast

Just when you thought you were out, they pull you back in!

It's my understanding that you can have one Death Knight per server (that you have a Level 55 character on). So if you wanted to play around with a DK you could make one on whatever server you left one of your 70s on.

I would also demand pictures, lots and lots of pictures. Even if I wanted to I couldn't afford to come back to WoW at this juncture, so I need my vicarious experience.

As soon as I finish the main quest in Fable II, I'll post some more pictures of my hero. She's gone through some changes.

sadly i deleted all my caracters when i left wow 2 months ago. But i find it nice to be able new ones and start all over again. My retribution pally is so far coming along great. At the current pace i expect it to be 55 within the current month or so. my pally is currently level 24.

hey mac you should totally transfer to nagrand server. I think its worth it cause your leveling pace would go up a lot. especially with the changes they made recently. pallies are overpowered so easy leveling

Peach, you can ticket Blizz and ask them to restore your 70's. You're allowed to do it 3 times. You might not get your gear back, but you'll at least have the toons.
