particularly the last paragraph i'd love to know exactly how Poland is responsible for WW2. Did Poland dress so provocatively that the Nazi's and then the Soviets just had to invade and rape the country ?.

There's always someone out there who tries to rewrite history to make their side look like saints while making others look like devils.

Truth is, there's equal parts blame all round. Some can be laid at the door of the allies after WW1 for the way they treated Germany at Versailles - though a worldwide depression was something that none could really see back then. One wonders if Hitler and the Nazi's would have been able to get into power if Germany wern't in such a mess in the 1930's

Britain and France share an equal blame for caving in to Hitler - If they'd just shown some balls and put their collective feet down things might have gone differently. Though one has to realise that Herr Hitler was already planing for war by '44-45, by which time his Army, Navy and Air Force would have been better equipped, so one can sorta be grateful war broke out earlier than he anticipated.

One could understand the USSR's actions too. They really wern't in any position to take Hitler's Germany on back at the time of the Pact - though I do think Stalin blinded himself to Hitler's real aims. Remember, at one stage Stalin actually somewhat admired Hitler.

I can understand why the Russians would be pissed at this point.

It is obviously Poland's fault for being invaded. Seriously, the war never would have occurred if they hadn't been invaded. Bloody Polacks.

Not gonna bother again. Someone deleted my previous account...somehow.

History can be a messy subject, and no one ever sees themselves as the bad guy. I think war is the fault of humanity much more than any particular nation.
