The Angels fan comic "Divided Soul" will be restarting soon to coincide with the restarting of the main comic. This time the comic will have its very own website, complete with information on characters, organizations, and other material, continuing to expand upon the Angels Universe.
Expect updates to be on Wednesdays.

20 pages so far, another 6 finished and ready to go, another 3 in the works right now. As long as people are willing to draw them, I'll keep writing the story from beginning to end.

The website is now up:
Divided Soul Online
WARNING: site currently functions only for Internet Explorer
I am a poor amateur when it comes to web-design, so any advice or suggestions are welcome. If anyone knows of any good (and free) web-page creation tools let me know. Also, any volunteers to help me maintain the website are most welcome.

How... in God's name... did you manage to create a site that displays text in IE and graphics in Firefox?! I mean...
...I have no words...
wtf :!:
Put the FrontPage down, Vexus. Try Nvu or Seamonkey Composer (Mozilla-based).
(And ease up on the huge graphics, please. Text and formatting can do wonders.)

I had a feeling that I was going to get a tongue-lashing from you, JF.
Honestly, I have no experience at making web pages, so that's why I asked for tool suggestions. Unless someone else steps up, we'll have to deal with me stumbling my way through the process.
Nvu links are dead, so I'll give Seamonkey a shot.

I'm more astounded that such a thing was possible, than admonishing. It's like using Java as non-object orientated programming language...
Both are bad, but you still have to be impressed when someone manages to pull it off.
And out of curiosity, which browser renders things more like you intended -- the graphical, but non-functional Firefox or the graphicless, but operational IE (and which version of IE; 6 or 7)?

I'm using IE 7 and it seems to work fine for me.
I'd really like to have a website that works for all browsers, but I just don't have the time to learn HTML, Java, etc.
Microsoft Publisher is easy to use, but what it generates doesn't seem to work well on other browsers. Perhaps something like Seamonkey Composer would work better, but after a test today it's not nearly as easy to use.
So overall I feel a bit stuck. Worse comes to worse I can just post the new pages to the forums.

So until I get my web-page master belt or someone comes to the rescue, I will play it safe for now and simply post stuff directly to the forums here. That way, one's web browser shouldn't matter.

Thanks to assistance from Jana, I have created a new version of the Divided Soul website that should work on any browser and be easier to maintain, update, and navigate. You can find it here.
From now on, updates will be posted to the website instead of the forums.

The Angels starmap and RPG resource pages, once linked from the Angels 2200 main page back when it was on the old server, have now been posted up on the DS site. Feel free to explore all the delightful little details of the Angels Universe while you wait for the next comic!
