...oh, crap, the elephant!
And that darn cat; I always thought there'd be more of a plot point concerning that kitty...seems we're winding down without it being significant. Hrm...

The cat is, as freud would say, just a cat. You need to spend less time worrying about Quetz's pussy and more time worrying about What sorts of shennanigans Lance is going to get up to if he actually repairs(modifies) himself.

Bah! I still say the cat's significant somehow...
...like it carries a dormant set of the genes necessary to produce human males again, having been injected with them in some protective capsule or something while on board that rebel ship or something.
Or something.

Panel 1 was a real tear-jerker for me. Whiskey is wearing one of Loser's flightsuits, and Kid has a photo of Hammer and BG's hat and trenchcoat.

Yay for an update but I'm a little confused on the message at the bottom about finishing up this week with updates today and Friday.
Did I read it right? We only have one more comic left and then its done? One panel is going to wrap everything up?

personally i think the cat is just there. kind of like that black cat you see in every episode of Trigun.

I mean, as I understand it, the story will continue in some form or another, but this particular branch of it is over or something. Guess we'll find out exactly what form that will take on Friday (I hope! Fingers crossed!), but that's about everything that's been revealed... narkosys wrote: personally i think the cat is just there. kind of like that black cat you see in every episode of Trigun.
Maybe the black cat you see in every episode of Trigun... I haven't really watched it.
It's just that there are SO. MANY. UNANSWERED. QUESTIONS. and I'm eight flavors of curious.
Plus, there's Chekov's Gun to consider:
"One must not put a loaded rifle on the stage if no one is thinking of firing it." Chekhov, letter to Aleksandr Semenovich Lazarev (pseudonym of A. S. Gruzinsky), 1 November 1889.
If we're handed a genetic plague that wiped out all males, AND some weird and mysterious bit of info out there called "Forseti" (which STILL hasn't been explained, dammit!), and then we're given a cat off an exploding ship of our enemies who are in league with the originators of Forseti...well, dammit, that cat's a big honkin' rifle that hasn't been fired.
A biological being taken from the ship of those who may have originated the plague? Screams disease vector/carrier to me, and it probably would have to Chekov, too.
Just sayin'.

There is no need to speak Whiskey, your face says everything.
I like the fact that Kid, despite it all is still Kid - The dress is entirely her.
And Valdez? well, what can one say? I think Pronto says it more eloquently than anyone could.
I like the fact that Lance has survived. Kinda feel sorry for the poor Android.

Oh, not THAT rumor again.
Let's set the record straight here: the next part of the story arc will be presented in full-immersion real-time interactive 3D virtual reality; the helmets, gloves, and boots are available now at your local video game store. Just don't enter the Angels2200 gaming environment from a roof; the zero gravity on the outer skin of the starships is simulation only.
